Questions

Why don't we have a panel of citizens to look at proposed legislation to see if it passes the common sense test as relates to the Constitution?
Why don't we have all expenditures and income listed for the national budget?
Why aren't all programs "on-budget"?
What is the constitutionality of earmarks?
Why is abortion a federal issues?
Why isn't the tenth amendment upheld?

Just some questions I have and ones which should be put to any person running for office.

Elections

So, everyone is beginning to pick their candidates for their respective party nominations and I can't see a reason to leave the party of my choice to pick one from either of the 2 major parties. I have a definite conservative bent and can't a find a candidate from either party what would fit the bill. Romney seemingly changes his position on issues, Newt has too much baggage and the only other Republican I could stomach would probably be Tom Tancredo. Neither party wants to seriously address illegal immigration (I don't go for any of the politically correct descriptors). I am sticking with the Constitution Party until I can be shown a real candidate.

Hello

Hello and welcome to this new endeavor; I hope I don't bore you. I am a uncomplicated man who tries to keep things simple. Life has twists and turns which will lead us in ways we never expected. I am married with 5 children (4 boys, 1 girl) that range in age from 23 to 5; all are unique personalities. I am also a born again Christian and that faith informs every decision I make; though I don't always live up to the standard. Those times are when I have to depend on the grace of God.
